  1. American sailors train heavily in damage control. It is very difficult to win an E in that kind of operation and American sailors work very hard to accomplish that. I was a talker in Damage Control Central back in the 60s.

  6. A carrier group at combat readiness can move a mile every 2 minutes. In 4 minutes they are not where the missiles were aimed at. Even counting nuke explosives. In 6 minutes they are totally not where expected. The missiles need to be very fast. Or fired in a barrage. But then you have nuke explosions interfering with the other missiles. It is a very difficult problem.

  8. The hang over from the one child policy will last 20 years. Even two children does not translate into a willingness to be aggressive among the population. A four child policy might.
