The Ground invasion will not happen until Gaza has been starving, without water, electricity, and fuel for a few months and living space is 40% destroyed (or more).

@bigdumbfatcat2869 Just think of how much this will improve the situation in Gaza in a month or six. No water. No food. No fuel. No electricity. For 6 months. Hamas wears no uniform. Everyone in Gaza is a target. Israel has warned everyone to leave. So they are being given a chance. If they want to take it. Or Hamas allows it.

According to the laws of war. Such as they are. And that is how the world sees it. Hamas has attracted a US Carrier BG. Good going guys. Killing invalids. Kidnapping women and children. Mass murdering civilians. The warriors of Gaza are reaping what they have sown.

@alfredwhite7773 Israel is very careful about public opinion. They will do it in such a way that they keep most or all their supporters. I do wonder where the residents of Gaza will be going. The people of Gaza do have a problem. Hamas has no uniform. That makes everyone in Gaza a military target. Legally. Will Israel exploit that? And do it publicly? There will be no genocide. Legally. Israel will be wiping out a 2 million person military unit.

Yom Kippur again? Israel was victorious at the end and captured the Golan. Good of the Arabs to try again. I expect similar results. Although the air deliveries of munitions to Hamas could accelerate that.

His enthusiasm for the first day's results overshadows the logical thinking required to consider the effect this will have on the Israeli Military and population. Do you think the Palis will need to find a new home? Hamas doesn't have a uniform. That makes everyone in Gaza a military target. Will the Israelis take advantage? I do not believe that 'uniforms' were included in the report.
