@shencheanglow3726 I was being sarcastic. And Widlar eventually got his $million. I can't recall if he had to move on to get it. Fairchild spawned a lot of companies. Bad management spawned an industry.

@vlhc4642 It is worse than that. We in America have commissars behind every worker just looking for an excuse to punish. Transistors were invented that way.

The USA is expecting a total collapse of the Chinese - America supply chain in 3 to 5 years. Certainly no later than 2030. We are building plant accordingly and/or establishing alternates.
