  1. It took me 3 days to get my sea legs. After that, when the crew got sick from a typhoon, I was on the mess deck chowing down. (With so many sea sick the mess deck was open continuously with cold cuts, velveta cheese buns and coffee). For the first three days at sea I wasn't much interested in food. DLG(N)-25 USS Bainbridge.
