They overthrew the Russian coup - which was unpopular in any case. The Russian plotters are convicted of treason in Ukraine and have decamped to Russia. There is historical bad blood between Ukraine and Russia. Russia in the 1930s starved the Ukraine people to death for profit. To pay off bankers.
