  2. Intermittent and unreliable is no way to go through life. And we might get an electric supply that can go for days or weeks with insufficient input. Or pay a lot for batteries. Have you done the math? It doesn't add up with current technology. And suppose we find the planet needs the wind more than we do? Or that only rooftop solar makes ecological sense. Then what?

  7. One small problem it takes $3 bn to $4 bn of wind generators to equal $1 bn of nuke. And with the wind you also get intermittent and unreliable. Intermittent is helped some by batteries. Unreliable is handled by backup generators.
