  1. Uneconomical and flat out near impossible to automate industry the way you believe. That's never going to happen. It'll be the exact opposite. The airport will be an empty Stargate you have to keep walking through sensors in, they're might be one employee available to ensure everything is working as is, and the last people left employed will be the pilots, simply because unless you have all the money and brains in the world in the same event center, it's going to be impossible to automate commercial air travel, not to mention it'll raise some rights issues too.
