  6.  @sergeys.960  I agree with you mostly, and again I understand where your coming from. But I think the other issue at hand is, Russia is one of the many countries who despite not being up to date with their enemies, will attempt a confrontation nonetheless if it comes to it. I don't believe much will come of this. I also don't foresee war. But unfortunately we're dealing with volatile parties who can flip that no going back switch within a few minutes (not talking about Nukes but a large scale attack on multiple nations triggering a world wide response) and the core problem is, you as a military are denied access to a country to test extremely dangerous designed specifically to kill explosives (missiles) by that country itself- you cannot decide to continue to do so. If this is allowed we're going to see China in new York, the Pakistani army in British waters, and the Koreans shooting missiles over Paris. Because it negates unwritten rules that when broken only ever lead to conflict. I, and pretty much everyone in Ireland, have absolutely no issue with Russia. But they're negating the status quo, and acting rogue. And even if they have no I'll intentions. They're essentially telling the world they're bombing an extremely high value point which allows the world to converse, and nobody can do anything about it. There's so many legitimate worries from a strategic, political, and war time point of view. This training exercise is opening a very dangerous door. And not to mention these exact sub sea cables, that the Russians Themselves have already previously attacked. It's literally a "don't look while we try our mission again" scenario
