@EarlHayward This is not the gotcha that you think it is lmao. Capitalism always leads to imperialism eventually and just like all empires in history there is a finite limit to the level of control, exploitation, and pillaging they can attain. It becomes unsustainable once these limits are met and so newer systems arise that better address the contradictions. All those people who made up the Mongol Empire didn't just disappear, they only became parts of the societies that arose from that empire. You should learn to grow out of this type of pop history where 'civilizations' collapse because of 'sea people' or whatever nonesense they're making content about these days.
