  1. This is a result of the car industry arrogance and lack of innovation and also a consequence of psychopathic policies of the German government. Energy dependence on Russian gas, irrational closing of nuclear power stations, social welfare handouts incentivising idleness, catastrophic immigration policies, terrible family policies. Government so much wanted socialism and now they are getting it 🙈. As a Czech person I am not laughing, economists in our country have been vocal about the Czech Republic's over-reliance on Germany and automotive industry for years. Government did absolutely nothing to solve this strategic vulnerability and to diversify the economy.
