Multiculturalism is not a strength it's a weakness. It inevitably leads to tribalism. Lebanon is the best example.

Climate change is a multi-trillion global business. It has nothing to do with protecting environment or saving the planet. Without crooked science and scaremongering companies couldn't successfully sell carbon permissions, carbon audits, certifications and solutions to "fight" this problem. Climate change does happen, it's completely natural phenomenon. Climate is dynamic, not a static system. For some (obvious) reason politicians are only focused on one tiny factor that has a minuscule impact on climate, carbon dioxide, whilst ignoring anything else. "Fighting climate change " by cutting down CO2 comes at enormous cost, those funds could be more effectively used to fight some more pressing environmental problems.

@Will9c America didn't hate Germany, they hated nazis. America destroyed a lot in war but made great effort to rebuild Germany and the whole of Europe( in it's sphere of interest.) Does the astronomical amount of money they spend in Marshall plan sound like a hate to you? Compare to the misfortune of states in Soviet sphere of interest!

Yes, for great welfare for economic migrants whilst the average German is squeezed through taxation more and more. 😁😁😁

Acid rain was a real environmental problem. I come from the Czech Republic and we had massive area of forests destroyed by acid rains. Heavy industry, coal mining and power generation was one of the icons of communism. Plants burning low quality high sulphur content lignite in Czechoslovakia, Poland and Eastern Germany produced so much emissions of sulphur dioxide that subsequent acid rain lowered the soil pH so low that spruce trees in mountainous areas couldn't tolerate it and dried up. It took less than two decades. Situation only improved after the fall of communism when the megalomaniac industry scaled down and the power plants were desulphurated. It will still take many decades to get the area reforested. Climate change on the other hand is a tool of powerful business lobby. It's not about protecting environment, it's about business with carbon permits, eliminating competition and selling "green" solutions.

Exactly! People from the Eastern block were emigating to the free and democratic US. But today there's nowhere to emigrate to, the evel comes from the west. California, England, France, Sweden are forerunners in spreading neomarxists ideology.
2
@YahyaBenyahi Broken houses and destroyed cars could be fixed / replaced easily. Hard to fix broken spirit!
2
Spot on! It's like in the Angry Birds movie. The pigs are stealing our eggs but none of the birds believe that the pigs are bad and keep partying with them.

Hole in ozone layer and acid rain were real environmental problems and pretty serious ones. They got fixed by technical means. The first one by replacing chlorofluocarbons (CFCs) as refrigerants and propellants in sprays with another agents. The second one by cutting emissions of sulphur dioxide (SO2) in plants burning / processing high sulphur content coal and oil. But climate change / global warming is a different story. It is grossly exaggerated natural phenomenon. It is a scheme created by powerful "green" lobby to gain power and unlimited access to state funds to "fight this change". And to cut powers and liberties of ordinary citizens, prevent poor countries from development. 👎
2
Exactly! Born in Czechoslovakia, been there, done that. Free stuff for everyone! 🙈

Oregon has been mini California for some while...

Investing in the army is a wise thing and a necessity for every rich nation. But there is a difference between sensible investing in the army and chrony capitalist deals with contactors and friends.
2
@hank4920 It's not gonna work for much longer. Look at the mayhem in Sweden!
2
And Eastern Europe
2
You hit the nail in the head! 👍👍👍 That's exactly what America needs and many other countries!
2
Modern "liberalism" is a religion that is replacing christianity. It's a faith in punishing yourself for your "privileges ", spitting on your country and the work of your forefathers.
2
Tradition continues. Today Joe & Kemala sit, have a fair trade coffee with almond milk and ask: "What is the worst for the nation?"
2
@gregorpegger9291 I hope for the same
2
@edgarromero3196 Jeremy Corbyn won Johnson the seat👍😄😆
1
@toddpearson3849 They should know it's a either Witnesses of global warming or a Church of a holy wind turbine.
1
That's the "progressive " narrative! 👎👎👎
1
@Silver77cyn Yes, the Anglo - Saxon - Norse history was pretty bloody. Genoc1dal.
1
@WuzzyGames Yes, to some degree. The USA was settled by different nations, but they shared pretty much the same language and Christian culture. It was until the breakup of WWI, when strong sentiment against German Americans appeared. The same happened with Japanese Americans in WWII. Roman Empire was a multicultural empire that met with limits of its expansion, lost its meaning and its citizens got to comfortable and decadent. They outsourced all functions of the state to foreigners, including defence which led to their collapse.

Acid rain was a real environmental problem in some parts of the world. Sulphur dioxide emissions from burning poor quality coal and lignite caused acidification of soils and large scale forest decline. The sulphur dioxide was pretty bad for people to breathe as well together with other industrial pollutants. On the other hand climate emergency is pure fabrication and BS .
1
@Ordinary-AverageGuy This will happen in the US and the EU too. Elitists hate the idea of decentralised power and assets. They want everything under their central control 👎
1
@Kalimdor199Menegroth Yes, exactly. The West rejected Christianity and Climate Change became a new religion. 🙈 Of course it is good not to waste resources and find sustainable solutions for energy generation and economy in general. But this could be only achieved through gradual research and development. Panic and propaganda never created anything of value.
1
UK is not much better. Different crowd, same policy. At least you managed to escape the suicidal EU. There is still hope for the UK. 👍
1
That's the leftist "logic". White guys going to Africa = unacceptable colonisation Black guys going to Europe = right to migrate 🙈

Ryan Alex Too little too late

@MattyDemello You are copy + pasting the same cr@p over and over. It's you, the leftwingers who need to think critically. 👎
1
Yes it's a great idea. It works for us too with three kids. It's much better for the kids as well.👍 But you will have hard time to explain this to "progressive" and feminist circles.👎
1
@katherinenichols4831 Yes, as you say it is a matter of common sense, not politics. I don't know how about your friends, but for most "modern" feminist movements the combination of husband working and wife being stay at home mum is the worst nightmare. That's certainly not the model they would be promoting or even talking about. Instead all we hear is income inequality, exploitation, etc..
1
You can blame Germany for all kind of crazy socialist, "green" a immigration policies but German economy and debt to GDP is very sound. 👍 But you definitely cannot say the same thing about the EU as a whole and Euro. 👎
1
@ClearWater7.62 Your last sentence sums it all! It's an old Russian / Soviet strategy: "Divide and rule", very effective one. Division could be based on nationality, race, gender, ... Progressivists adopted this concept entirely, their ideology spreads like a cancer throughout the world! 👎👎👎
1
@juliazdunek9868 This "liberal democracy" has nothing to do with actual liberalism. It's in fact the total opposite of liberalism: bans, high taxes and regulations, oppression, egalitarianism. Winston Churchill once said that time will come in future when fascist will call themselves anti fascists. The time is today! Thief shouts "Chatch the thief!"
1
Yes exactly!!! I was just about to mention it! Not sure about Fidel, but Che was definitely pushing for preventive nuclear attack on the US. This was at the hottest moment of the cold war when the risk of nuclear conflict was at all time high. Thank God the Soviets and Americans had more sense and made a deal to end the crisis. The rockets were removed. Che was very disappointed, called the Soviets traitors. He was a dangerous psychopath. If he was in charge of those weapons we wouldn't be here today on both sides of the Atlantic! Leftists fanatics still worship this mega criminal, because he looks cool on T shirts. Leftism is about feelings and dogmas, not facts!
1
@Nathan-jh1ho Castro was very committed to communism but unlike Che Guevara didn't want to die martyr's death for the communists case.
1
"Progressivists" are trying to take your guns
1
@lorenzoback9949 Yes, nothing liberal about them at all! They are socialists! Neo communists. As a Czech I know 😁😁
1
China once build The Great Chinese Wall to defend herself from the attacking tribes from the North. It worked perfectly, but one day the Chinese thought they didn't like their own country and government and opened the gates to the enemy. Severe downfall and centuries of stagnation followed. In the USA the leftists are just opening the gates today!
1
Leftism is about feelings and dogmas. Not about facts!
1
And that's only decking! Now anyone wonders why the high speed rail project failed? Why there's so many homeless?
1
Spot on 👍 I love nature and this climate change business really gets on my nerves. Enormous resources are being poured into "fighting" this completely natural phenomenon. The real environmental issues are being ignored or downplayed. Overfishing and plundering of seas, destruction of habitat, poor water management in arid areas, loss of ground water and desertification, overuse of agrochemicals, overpopulation... that's just few to name.
1
@JJ-si4qh Exactly, it's a cancer that spreads worldwide! Here in Europe it's even worse. France, Germany, Sweden, the UK..👎👎👎
1
And a bulletproof vest!
1
It's time for governments to do balanced budgets and stop bullying citizens and the private sector.
1
Europe is lost already! 👎
1
Do you really think they don't have it??? Why do you think it is so expensive nowadays? Because of the super tight regulations!
1
Children are not being educated anymore. They are being indoctrinated 👎
1
@Rogue Yes, lime was used widely to alleviate the problem. Either spread from airplanes (on forest) or from ground, also tipped into drinking water reservoirs to balance the pH. Acid rain was a factor in damaging historical sights built from limestone sandstone etc.
