  1.  @VenturiLife  banks don't move bills around: it's all digital already. This is true everywhere, central banks, regional banks, etc. What the govt want is 100% direct, granular control of the access to money. They want China, not convenience.

  2. You're delusional if you think CBDCs are not going to be global. Some parts of the world might take longer but these they're going to be taken there eventually. Plus all politicians the world over will want that level of control over their own population.
