  35. I did graduate school in the US, and back then (way before the virus), Indian friends of mine were accepting job offers from Facebook to work for $75k/year in Silicon Valley. That’s so low that they had to have roommates; otherwise, they couldn’t even afford to work at Facebook. Elon can say anything he wants, but those H1B visas have been heavily abused to reduce payroll for him and his Silicon Valley friends.
