  1. The problem is that they will still get it. The only solution was having an American company buy the app. This "deal" is just Oracle getting the US share of the cloud computing business of Tik Tok. You think Oracle will care what their client (the Chinese Communist Party) will do with that data? They'll stay mum in order to not lose the business. Like companies have been doing all these time while China stole their intellectual property right below their noses.

Of course not! They'll stay mum in order to not lose the business, like all those tech companies (including Oracle) have been doing all these time while China stole their intellectual property right in front of their noses.
