A lot of people soured on Ben after what they did to Candace. No that he was very popular to begin with.. I was never a subscriber of his but did watch a few of his videos in my recommendations. After the feud with Candace I just hit "not interested" on his videos in my feed and probably others who've had him on the thumbnail. In these algorithmic driven econony never engaging with the content is the best way to let people know you couldn't care less.
