  1. 3:50 you are in the right bro. DR authorities will try to obscure the motive for the killing, and even the person behind it if he's too powerful, in order to protect Mr. Ortiz's image. Journalists should pay extra close attention to the alleged motive, question it and maybe go to where the official narrative just won't go.

  3. ​ Never mind you’re right  when you say "people in DR know the truth" you mean that people in DR are going by what is reported on social media. Local "reputable" (whatever that means down there) news organizations are not reporting on the alleged motive yet and when they do they say it's a rumor, hearsay just like they did here. The authorities are also taking their sweet time coming up with a narrative for the motive. Don't be surprised if in the end they don't even mention a drug lord or his girlfriend.
