  1. A car handles and feels only appropriate in comparison of the 60 to 0 stopping power not Engine power. The speed limit is 80 in Texas it’s appropriate because cars have better brakes now. Most everybody drives about 90 when the roads are clear. Cars nowadays can go from 90 to a dead stop in the length of an offramp! that’s just modern technology. Only the length of the time that the car has to remain on the highway is energy Inefficient, not the speed.
