9:11 issue I have with that is a lot of bodies are not recovered by the Russian side of the conflict. So if they're going by cemeteries it's a very flawed statistic. Definitely from failed assault operations in which no ground is gained and neither side is going to go into the name man's land to recover bodies. From what I've read, the Russian government isn't considering someone dead unless they actually recover a body, so a lot of deaths will not be showing up in cemeteries. It has been a serious issue in Russia, with many protest from war wives who've not heard from their husbands or sons in a while, and are given no news on whether they're dead or alive. Best example of this happening is from the sinking of the Moskva, the family of Mark Terosov even by late least year was never reported as KIA, just MIA. He went missing after the sinking of the Moskva. He isn't counted as KIA and doesn't have a grave, and the Russian government hasn't told his parents, they know he is dead, but because he isn't official "dead" they're not allowed to hold a funeral for their son. This may have changed since late last year but this is happening for a lot of families in Russia. The Government lies a lot. Without evidence they're dead the Government pretends they're not dead.
