  1. Andy Zhang Char Aznable would be #1 if that was the case. He went from Rival in one TV show, to a supporting Big Brother and secondary supporting Protagonist, to later a Genocide Fallen Hero style of Villain, absolutely and utterly glorious story. When they made a character develop to a pure villain, but that development that lead to it created half the fan base to support and root for a genocidal maniac... they did something absolutely right.
