I remember when I used to be a socialist. The more I read about history, the more I would come to understand how flawed it was. So i supported a limited form of socialism for many years after since I graduated highschool. Which was back in 2003. Now it is 2019 and I'm totally against Socialism in it's entirety after I entered the workforce and just saw how lazy people are inherently. A nation that would adopt Socialism in it's entirety is doomed eventually just from that very fact alone. What scares me more is how nearly every socialist state, including Nazi Germany, the USSR, North Korea and all turned into socialist backed plutocracy. No greater example of this than the USSR, and modern China, or North Korea which became an autocracy now that I think about it. Of which even the Russia hasn't completely moved away from, with some of the poorest people in the western world, yet it's leaders live in palaces. People often accuse Capitalism of creating Plutocracies but honestly Socialism is no better, hasn't proven itself to be better. While Socialism in turn feels like empty promises, were as Capitalism you at least have chances, and more freedom to choose.
