  1. I heard the SS In Poland, France, and Belgium performed poorly. They were often under equipped and lead by men who often had no business being field commanders. But nitpicking two cases from two particular divisions is tad of an unfair assessment of the Waffen-SS over all honestly. They did however have glaring performance issues on and off throughout the war. But to be honest, I think the German Army in general would have similar issues. Gotta say though that "Nord" Division one really ties into the "Men who often had no business being field commanders." I stated above already. lol
