I found it funny that I remember commenting not long ago that almost all the major resistance within Germany came from Conservatives, Monarchist, Christians, and Aristocrats. ie, what is considered the right wing. Yet, the Nazis are almost always labeled right wing, yet the right wing in Germany hated the Nazis. Gotthard Heinrici being a good example recently from the Stalingrad Data channel which you work with, being a devout Christian because being a devout Christian he was actually semi sidelined by the Nazi regime throughout the war despite his performance as an officer, because he was Christian, and chose his Christian values above National Socialist values.

@TheImperatorKnight He also waged war against the traditional family as well. Using the Hitler youth to completely undermined the family structure within Germany. Even when many parents resisted, by keeping their children out of the public educational system which the regime had absolute control over, the regime reacted by making youth service mandatory. By controlling the children, you control the parents in short. The parents no longer had control of their children, or their family, but the state.

So in short, you just undermined your own argument.

@jamesmackenzie1536 Does it? I'm pretty sure it had more to do with women being baby factories for the state. But by saying that you're ignoring how badly the regime tried to take utter control of the family, not allowing parents to raise their children, they had to follow strict state guidelines. Mothers who did work had their children raised in Nazi run daycares. Failure to meet basic guidelines would risk having your children taken from you. They used the Hitler youth to spy on families for this reason. If you were a communist, they'd find out through your children, if you were not arrested, at the least they'd take your children from you and make sure they would not be influenced by you. In short, you're not raising your kids, the State is, you're just housing/feeding them.

@jamesmackenzie1536 To sum it up from that link. Women work force in Germany during the war years, and remember 1939 didn't see any real big change from 1938 and from prior pre-war years. This includes agriculture, industry, and commercial, and state positions. Total May 1939: 14,626,000 May 1940: 14,386,000 May 1941: 14,167,000 May 1942: 14,437,000 May 1943: 14,806,000 May 1944: 14,808,000 To sum that up. About a 5th of all women in Germany were in the labor force. Who knows how many more unofficially.

@jamesmackenzie1536 I went by total population including children and elderly. So 1/5 of all women 14 million of a total population of 80-90 million divided by two. USA had roughly 19 million women in the work force with a larger total population.
