So basically Char Aznable from Mobile Suit Gundam. Lost his family do to political infighting. His father was basically Space Marx and a lunatic. By the time he was in his thirties he became altrustic to a fault willing to wipe out humanity on Earth as a necessary evil very well knowing it was evil and even telling himself "Someone has to shoulder the evils of humanity." Basically turning himself into a sacrificial lamb. You get the same with Visari from the Killzone series. Willing becoming a Martyr in death and he pursued that death believing the cause more important tham his own life and by being killed by the enemy would rally the people. Visari himself was raised by the Helghast Corporation. Neither had a real child hood.

@martiendejong8857 Good luck at government by consent. Power Corrupts. So Socialist governments almost always give more powerful to the State than the Individuals that comprise them. So that power Corrupts Absolutely. The Evil Capitalist get replaced with Party officials, so the exploitation continues, but this time, now you're a slave to the collectivist State. Being even the earliest Socialist stated Socialism to be the opposite of Individualism, you are essentially a slave to the collective body, and no longer an individual human being or at the very least, you being an individual no longer matters the system, the group, the society matters more than you. You're a statistic.
