What is most tragic under the Soviet system, Dresden wasn't even fully rebuilt by the 1980s. I remember seeing some photos dated to I think 1984 or 86 somewhere in there which showed entire city blocks which were still bombed out, and I know I've seen some footage from the early 90s showing some major buildings still being rebuilt. Amazing how well Socialism works. Sarcasm

@harveybrown37 Shanties are still structures. I'm talking about whole bombed out buildings still standing some as large as cathedrals, and city blocks left alone. Plus you're talking about Britain a nation renowned for inefficiency and state meddling in everything.
