David Irving joined the H.denial movement during the 90s. He gave quite a few lectures about it and even went to Holocaust lectures to debate and argue with other writers. Which is why he was included in Lipstabts' book on the subject and is also why Evans started researching for a book about Irving's deceptions of history even before the Liability trial. Irving has seem to have had a personal love affair with Hitler and tried to deliberately distort history in his favor by damning people around Hitler while down playing Hitler's involvement in war crimes. He the joined the H.denial movement at the end of the 80s and was an active supporter of the IHR, which I used to be a member of their website back when I used to drink from that toxic well and Irving was one of their champions until a few years ago when he finally started backpeddling on the H subject.

Irving is one of the reasons I grew up believing 90,000 burned to death in the fire bombing of Dresden in a single night. He sourced Nazi and Anti Western East German Propaganda as fact. 2007 if I recall an independent German commission came to find out that fewer than 24,000 died in Dresden throughout the whole war. Not the 100,000-400,000 Propagandist like Irving spread. It was so successful that even in my school I heard the 90,000 burned to death in one night slogan.

@edwinpassii8430 well I tried but YT deleted my reply. This is an insanely touchy subject that requires code words to dicusse in the comment section. I tried to give a history of thd IHR and what I know from the time I was with what remained of it like 10 years ago before I jumped ship but YT bots wiped the reply and I honestly can not discuss it without specifics including names without sounding like a loony. I really miss youtube before the censorship.

If I recall when David Irving was arrested in Austria, or was that Hungary? Lipstadt was one of a number of Holocaust Historians who came out and condemned the arrest for the very reason you mentioned. This is in spite of the assumption that both Lipstadt and Irving seemed to hated each other. Sadly this kind of nonsense is making it to the USA and UK in the mask of Hate Crime laws. I know someone was arrested recently for painting over Graffiti related to the recent rioting despite it was on their own property because it was considered a hate crime to remove it by the leftist local government.

But, put it bluntly. Irving tried to white was Hitler while scapegoating others in the regime. Like I said he seemed to like Hitler a lot. His criticism of the H came from research done by members if the IHR, who have been proven to be run by Antisemites after hackers broke into the personal emails of one of it's founders. Irving likely only jumped on their cause so he could use it to white wash Hitler more and only for this because of his past bias.

@erictull2089 actually youtube auto deletes a lot of H.D. related content in the comments section and has been doing so since they started cracking down hard on H.D. videos or H Revisionist content. TIK mentions this in his first comment that he is not the one removing the comments. I know it is true as I even when commenting against H.D. comments that the bots will delete my comments just for using too many Hot words that cause the comments to be flagged and removed. It is youtube censorship.

De Profundis ya I used to use a argument I made that pretty much proves that the H is undeniable with a check list that normally puts HD and HR users into a position that they can not normally counter. I can not use it anymore because it used a lot of their own points so I must have access to specific words often associated with HDist.
