Of course TLOF2 comes up in said person's review. They're still mad people hated that game but love Ghost of Tsushima. I find it coincidental as I've been wanting a game exactly like Ghost right down to the setting it's based in for years, maybe not on the Island of Tsushima in particular, though that is an Island I often occupy on Mount & Blade Warband Gekokujo, I was hoping for something more broad across the entire series of Islands but heck, this game was a pretty big start.

@Ganbare_Kenji Ya, but i also hope such a game is more nitty/gritty. A Kenshi (game) but Samurai/Japan, with all pro/cons, darkness/crit, brutality, and lore. I want to see a Samurai chop someone's head off for looking at them wrong, I want to see a Samurai Piss on a man in a prison pit who didn't show him the proper respect. Tired of games that hide this stuff. Not wanting to agree with the article, but I want a more 'real' experience, but that article would work in just about every setting. Ivideo

@Ganbare_Kenji Actually to be honest, this game didn't show the brutality that was the Mongol invasion even remotely to the scale that actually happened on Tsushima. They had ships literally stringed with the bodies of captured women/children which were tired to their ships as human shields when they pushed on to the next Island after they conquered Tsushima, it was pretty brutal/horrific. They used the same tactic when attacking strong holds on the Island. Using civilians to shield them from arrows. So when that writer of the Article says it unfairly demonizes the Mongols. Well shit, that writer doesn't know the half of it.
