@iEssense Gacha is loot boxes, where do you think they got it from Gacha have been around for well over a decade now, long before companies like EA introduced Loot Boxes. Loot Boxes are a Western AAA copy of the Asian Gacha system, a system that carried over into Asian mobile games, then copied by western mobile games, then by western Publishers. GACHA is LOOTBOXES. They're the same thing. So if Loot Boxes get banned they would have to include Gacha as they're literally the same concept.

@shadyknux They're horrible examples though. PangYa and Mabinogi were utterly destroyed by their Gacha mechanics. They ruined progression, and put almost all new content behind RNG paywalls. PangYa was one of my most favorite games until the Gacha system literally ate it alive. Mabinogi is currently in a similar sorry state sadly, everything is either in a Gacha of sorts whether clothing bags, dolls etc. Which is sad as they actually made some positive improvements with Mabinogi over the years but they still can not keep players. PangYa is literally dead.
