My response to the Azov Battalion claims are even if they're true is that Putin is literally considered the next Jesus in the eyes of Most Nazis and Fascist around the world. There are many units fighting for Russia in Donbas which use similar symbolism as well. So the accusation if true, is irrelevant when you take all that into consideration.

@jameshodgson3656 You don't know the chaos of the Inter-War period. Between 1918-1920. Most armies really not much better than armed mobs with uniforms fighting for Ukraine, Poland, Belarus, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, the Red Army, etc. Poles were fighting Germans, Ukrainians and Lithuanians. Ukrainians were fighting the white and red Russians, and Poles. List goes on and on. Lets say civilians were not protected, towns were assaulted, everyone wanted to claim as much land for their "New" Nations as they could, a lot of crimes were committed by almost all parties. Heck fun fact Heins Guderian fought in Lithuania as a Freikorp Volunteer and served with a unit responsible for the murders of many local civilians in the region, despite fighting against the Red Russians, they were also fighting against the Lithuanians. In short, he stained his hands if blood long before Hitler ever came around despite being considered the Father of Mobile Warfare.

@UshankaShow I think the issue is the patch you show at 3:39 has both the Wolfangels and the Black Sun. Though I agree the symbols on their own shouldn't be viewed as proof, but the fact you have both of these symbols from two different parts of Europe, both heavily used by Nazis from WWII and post WWII both collectively on the same exact emblem from a region that isn't Nordic or German. I agree however in your video when you show fighters who fight for Russia who have similar symbols on their Uniforms. It makes the entire Anti-Nazi claim by Putin entirely irrelevant as he is using Nazis, and has Nazis fighting for him. I think the issue here is, why would Ukraine Reject Soldiers who would die for their country just because of their beliefs? It's stupid to think anyone would be dumb enough to do that. Regardless whether they're Nazis or not. Reminds me of that Scene from the film Platoon which you see a Black man riding a APC with a Nazi Flag draped over top of it. During war, personal/political beliefs take a side seat to the issue of actually winning said war. The Azov Battalion had been there in 2014, kept serving, and are still serving. They made up a good check of the defenders of Mariupol, and held out far longer than what was necessary. Why reject fighters who are that dedicated?
