  1. TIKhistory did a review of this film as well, and he only found a few things wrong with it. Being he is primarily studying history and war crimes from that period of history, the fact he only found a few things about the film inaccurate is actually an endorsement. His only criticism really of the film is that the film didn't represent the actual units that committed the crimes, like the Dirlewanger Brigade. The troops seen on film behaved like them, committed similar crimes including the signature act they would do locking up civilians in a building and setting it on fire. But the troops seen on screen were not from the Dirlewanger Brigade. So in the grand scheme of things when it comes to film making, having that one thing being wrong about the film pales in comparison to the inaccuracies seen in other films. So over all the production staff for the film did a pretty good job. As horrible as the film is to watch.
