  1. Peace Loving USSR. Tell that to Finland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Belarus, Poland, the Tatars, Cossacks. Among many other nations and ethnic peoples. Lets not forget when Hungary tried to bid for it's independence how quick the USSR sent the military to CRUSH a nation that wasn't part of the USSR that just wanted to leave the Soviet Block of countries. I remember reading somewhere that it's still not taught in Russian history that the USSR invaded Finland in 1939. Doesn't even include all the proxy wars both the USSR and USA fueled which dominated most of the post WWII era.
