We need the government to invest. We've been waiting 4 decades for the private sector to do it, and they have failed Tax them so the government can invest in infrastructure and hospitals!

All that wealth has just been used to buy up all the houses and price ordinary people out of the market, and run shady but legal grifts like share buybacks The water infrastructure is crumbling, nobody is training anyone, and there's little to show in terms of factories and manufacturing. Where is this investment?

@garrywynne1218 If work isn't covering the true expenses of an employee, then employers need to pay more, either directly in wages, or in tax to cover shared costs like the NHS. Privatising the profits and socialising the costs needs to stop!

@garrywynne1218 It's a tough one to answer without knowing what those low paid jobs are. A lot of low paid jobs are pretty essential - cate home staff, supermarkets etc If we don't pay for them (directly and indirectly), what do our lives look like?
