If you have a third party that isn't the Tories or Labour in with a chance in your area, back anyone but the big two Not everyone is in a position to do so, but hung parliaments are the way to get change. If two or three parties have to work together, it will normalise the idea with the public, and give the smaller parties an opening to demand changes to elections as part of the coalition deal

  3. We definitely need change, although that's not the way I'd recommend - if Jim and John form the New Neo Not Fascist Honest Party, should they get funding? Clearly not, but how do you exclude them without excluding the Greens? Two ideas worth considering are tying funding to the votes gained last time - excludes extremists, but gives a small party reason to call for votes even if they're not going to win The other is to set aside a pot of public money, and each registered citizen can donate it to a political party or a registered charity In both cases, no donations allowed outside of that system Both exclude extremists, while also excluding megadonors. Shame the big two will never support a change of system...
