I think there are some improvements to be made in negotiation with the EU, and I am pretty sure I know what will and won't be negotiated What won't be negotiated is the regulations. Take SPS checks as an example. I think there is a deal possible there, that removes a lot of the border friction To get the agreement, there will be no discussion about what checks are expected - the UK takes off-the-shelf terms, or takes the current deal What will be negotiated is how we are going to prove alignment if it isn't done through checks at border. That will be an awkward discussion after the Tory binfire, but not impossible This is what I expect to see - not making Brexit work well but at least working slightly better than currently

@KernowDamo so true! Thankfully, alignment benefits both sides, if our government can show it's not going to be awkward and silly anymore
