  1. At least there was a naive logic to the economic backtracking - definitely naive though, as it requires ignoring a lot of evidence and economic precedent. Nobody has ever fixed an austerity-ravaged economy with slightly milder austerity! This pledge is just straight-up turning Tory though...

  2. I still have respect for people who are promoting tactical voting while also still being activist to fix Labour (even if I suspect they are shouting at a brick wall) Definitely agree that the vote Labour-job done types are enabling something horrible!

  3. @Adam Morgan  I think there's a lot of overlap between the anti-Corbyn movement and the Just Trust Starmer types. It's very much like a cargo cult - they assume that if they have a boring, undramatic leader, then we will automatically have a boring, undramatic economy and society We know it doesn't work like that though! If you try and wallpaper over real problems, the problems just grow bigger. Blind faith Starmerism is going to let inequality and deprivation fester and grow 🙁
