  1.  @TMan786  One of the big arguments is NATO - a unified EU defence force would give European forces more weight in NATO decisions and make it less USA centric It also allows for cost savings on kit by procuring at scale, and standardises training so everyone uses the same gear. A lot of dull, sensible logistics reasons rather than the dramatic but delusionally paranoid talk of the EU trying to take over the world...

  2. I don't get anyone who is OK with NATO but worries about the EU standardising their defence forces. What's the difference?
