@PhilBaxter is he a hardline Brexiteer though? He's saying we have to make being out work, and that's just reality. We will rejoin, but it's definitely not going to be in the next parliament. Even the hyperEuropean LibDems aren't promising that!

Boris said he'd die in a ditch if their was another extension back in the day. I believe that ditch never got used in the end, so the option's there if you want it!

Is it OK to treat UK citizens better than non-UK citizens? If it is, why is a three-tier system unacceptable while a two-tier system is acceptable?

@aituk Did we need to reform freedom of movement? The UK didn't even use the full controls available - back when the UK was in the EU we had one of the most open policies on immigration in the whole EU. Pretty much everyone else had tighter controls, all fully EU compliant

@paddyjoe1884 it is depressing and scary just how many of the "red line, this is why we have to leave the EU" issues were Tory/Westminster policies, not EU ones, and could have been solved in Westminster while fully in the EU

@TheOutsider840 That is a fair point! I do suspect that France and Spain were making it about UK pensioners more often than we'd make it about French or Spanish ones though!
