At least Dale managed the low hanging fruit of pointing out that Mr Office was himself working from home. Often he wouldn't even manage that much challenge!

@jamesarnold7253 Bingo! We don't lose, the dinosaurs trying to enforce this lose us - when we change jobs to work for someone sane who values getting the job done over presenteeism Happily my bosses are sane, so I can stay where I am 😄

@podfast2685 No right to demand, but we have a strong position from which to ask. You don't want to be the company left at the back of the queue for hiring, after all the best and brightest moved elsewhere!

@matthewsemple absolutely this. Smart bosses will look at the work and their team and work out the right mix for them Meanwhile relics like JRM are more bothered about control and looking 'important', but will get left behind by everyone else busy getting things done 😁

@jim-es8qk If someone else is hiring, I absolutely can go work somewhere else! If bosses want to limit themselves to people who accept no WFH, then that's their hiring problem to solve, not mine 😉
