If you're really rich, most of your income isn't wages, but capital gains. They cap out at 20%/28%, depending on the type of capital gain

@Garry Wynne you'll always get a few, so you need to make it hard for them. The EU is one of the strongest democratic structures for resisting corruption. I think that's why certain elements pumped so much money into the Brexit campaign - they couldn't corrupt the EU, so they wanted out instead

@garrywynne1218 utter nonsense! The commission consists of representatives of the member nations. Those governments will notice if their representative goes wildly off script, so you'll need to bribe a substantial number of politicians back home, per representative That gets you a proposal. It then needs to be passed by the EU parliament... That's a lot of bribery to push something through the EU!
