Why are you so bothered about officers working to keep Pride safe, showing that they are on the public's side and want them to be safe?

@notjustforhackers4252 I do agree with that, but also want to draw a distinction between wearing pride colours day to day, and wearing Pride colours when policing Pride and wanting to assure the public that Pride is a safe place to be. That's an important context to be aware of

@jdshgaming3416 That feels like a contradiction - if the police are upholding the law, shouldn't the law be for the safety and security of the public? If the law isn't on the public's side, then whose side is it on?
