I have to question the integrity of anyone in the media who is still arguing against an election at this point. The government mandate is in tatters! How can you still stand by them?

@My_Name_Is_Brian I am no royalist, but if there's a constitutional rule for it, and he shows he's listening to parliament rather than acting all Henry VIII I can see most people being OK with this

My red line is "does this ignore parliament" with a special case of "when parliament is dysfunctional, ask the general public to vote in a new one" In all these cases, Charles isn't giving his personal views special privilege ahead of the democratic body of the people
