  1.  @أفلاكالأفكار  do you have more control? You have less to offer, so less weight. Being big, powerful and having a lot to offer gives you more to negotiate with. Being small and flexible means they bend you how they want you to bend And on a wider point - once we rejoin, the EU parliament isn't their parliament. It's our parliament. How can it be foreign once we are an active part of it?

  2.  @أفلاكالأفكار  A lot of UK businesses miss having continent-scale shared regulations and customs standards and where else could we set continent-scale policy, other than a continent-scale parliament?
