  1. and "more powerful" is marketing spin. Designs have improved a lot since then, so often you're not getting better cleaning with the high power model, you're just racking up a bigger electricity bill!

Organisations like ASEAN, RCEP and CPTPP all have greater economic integration in mind, and a single currency has been suggested (although a long way from being implemented) The direction of Asia is towards an EU-like structure. They just aren't as far along yet

  6.  @raymondbullock4557  Then Frost is really thick. Nothing had been signed, so no commitment made by May and her team was final. If they knew they wanted a different direction, the time to say so is before they signed everything off as binding commitments!

  11.  @Afghan31  No, she appears in the EU parliament, for parliamentary questions to the committee. It's a regular thing, you can watch videos of it, or even follow it live! It's not super thrilling, but serious matters rarely are

  13.  @Afghan31  yes, because it's the legislature, not the executive. The executive is appointed by the member governments. If you didn't like our representative in the EU executive, blame the UK government that we elected!
