@stewie7338 for decades the promise was made - don't tax the rich and they will invest the money better than the government That was clearly nonsense, so we should tax them like we used to, and spend the money on infrastructure and services ourselves!

@stewie7338 it isn't what the EU wanted, as many of the nations who spend more are EU nations. This is Westminster policy decisions

 @vinay7397 automated trains are fine in very controlled conditions. On less enclosed tracks, automated trains would be fine, until they tragically and spectacularly are not

@stewie7338 I don't mind paying more, if people with a lot more than me also pay a lot more It just needs to be proportional - if you made a lot of money as part of this country during good times, you should be paying more when the country is in need

@stewie7338 our funding per-head is lower than other developed nations. There may be other problems, but we have to start by spending as much as countries with better healthcare spend

@stewie7338 what I am not seeing is how that's an EU problem rather than a Westminster problem. Other EU nations didn't have this happen to them
