Osborne is being consistent in policy, so why shouldn't he back Reeves when she is closer to his policies than his nominal collegues are? Policies should be more important than team colours

@epincion Atlee faced a similar financial situation, and he built the NHS and rebuilt half the country. That's the sort of vision we need now, not cautious penny counting Invest to grow, and you will grow. Do nothing and you will go nowhere

@epincion in the article he is full of praise for the direction Reeves is taking. Why wouldn't he like her plans? "Fiscal discipline" is just rebadged austerity
