@cyrneco I'd say it's the other way around in Italy. The fact they still decide half the parliament via FPTP skews the results and gives the right far more influence than the straight popular mandate would give them

@cyrneco I did not realise Italy got through so many electoral systems, thanks for giving me a heads up! Didn't Berlusconi benefit from the system with the jackpot bonus for the largest party though, which also distorts the straight popular mandate?

@giovannipanzeri6431 when has there been a threat to the establishment in the UK or the USA? We have the choice of the establishment that will gently keep you down, or the establishment that will crush you harshly
