  30. Today's "did they really say that?" moment - apparently we need to give tax cuts because otherwise people won't work hard This is a tax cut for people on 150k and higher. The IEA just straight up said 150k earners are lazy, but will be less lazy if we give them lower taxes 🙄

  31. @D C Not everyone - people on 80k can cope with a pay freeze for a bit, people on 500k could cope on a pay cut I'm no commie demanding everyone gets the same, but is a CEO really over 150 times more important than a nurse?

We need to put money in productive businesses and people's pockets to get money moving We tried austerity back in 2008. It didn't work, and that's how we ended up where we are now
