  2. Today's "did they really say that?" moment - apparently we need to give tax cuts because otherwise people won't work hard This is a tax cut for people on 150k and higher. The IEA just straight up said 150k earners are lazy, but will be less lazy if we give them lower taxes 🙄

  3.  @twinwheels4717  it worked after ww2, when the top bands were 90% or more in various countries I don't know of an example where cutting it from at or near the current 45% rate increased tax revenue
