@fod1855 Why do people only look at minimum wage salaries when they talk wage-price spirals, but never executive salaries or dividends? 🤔

@fod1855 For me, the definition of 'enough' is simple - are they paid enough to cover the bills. I want cleaners to be able to focus on the job, not be constantly distracted by worries about what they are going to eat, or if they are going to be evicted by their landlord That doesn't have to be higher wages - that can also be met by good regulation and oversight of the wider economy so housing, power and food are affordable. However, if those are not managed, then expect to need to pay people enough to cover the bills if you want them to be in a fit state to do good work

@matty6848 I honestly don't know enough to comment there. I want the NHS to be efficient, but I worry about cutting management and logistics too far. There is admin that needs doing, and I'd rather dedicated managers do it so medical staff can focus on medicine Is there a good independent review of NHS management needs we can refer to so we get the balance right?
