@jloae820 yes, plenty of evidence that kids from children's homes are more likely to have psychological issues. Not all, but the trend is undeniable

Nothing wrong with wanting your children to have a good education. Plenty wrong with having an entitled assumption that they will without question pass the exams...

@satisfiedatheist8762 I just look at the government of the last twelve years. Some got their degrees on merit, but no way all of them did!

@satisfiedatheist8762 well, if Truss had a legitimate pass, she clearly forgot everything she learned on the way through the party ranks! Similar can be said of Johnson and Mogg. If they have any genuine ability and insight, they hide it behind their superficial veneer of waffle. They could both talk for days without saying anything of substance

@paddycrawshaw9221 something must be going wrong then - if there are decent and talented people at Oxford, why do we see so many Oxford grads who are incompetent horrorshows in parliament?

@satisfiedatheist8762 my point is most people only know Oxford indirectly, through public figures who have gone there. Many people will name a recent Prime Minister if you ask them to name someone who has been to Oxford The current government is doing so much damage to Oxford's reputation!
