@TheAtheist why can't we have better minimum wage, better qualified professional wages and more unionisation? I see no conflict there, as long as we accept that some companies will have to be merely "very profitable" rather than "extremely profitable"!

@TheAtheist if you think £28k to £38k is highly paid, I really don't know what to tell you! So many jobs have higher salaries than that, and that doesn't even start to crack open the can on passive wealth streams...

@TheAtheist I agree with the principle, I just don't see how that's achieved by demonising middle earners who spent years gaining qualifications and experience, while ignoring the owners who profit by inheriting things their parents and grandparents owned, and by squeezing everyone else's quality of life to breaking point

@TheAtheist Zahawi's tax bill was for millions. What do you think his income was, if the tax was in the millions? That is a high earner - not a teacher!
